String trio "Semplice" held a charity concert in support of Karazinsky

On August 28, 2022, the string trio "Semplice" held a charity concert in Kharkiv, on the basis of the Karazin University. The trio consists of Kharkiv musicians, in particular Tetyana Bogatyreva, the conductor of the university orchestra Karazin Orchestra. The purpose of the charity concert was to raise funds for the reconstruction of Kharkiv National University named after V. N. Karazin. Currently, part of the proceeds from the concert have been transferred to the account of the charity fund "Kharkiv Karazin University Foundation". The trio presented the residents of Kharkiv with the concert program "Pozaochi...", which successfully combined the musical traditions of Ukrainian and European classics in their unusual performance. Among the world classics were compositions by Sebastian Bach, Camille Saint-Saëns, Astor Piazzolla, Luigi Boccherini and others. Among Ukrainian classics and well-known compositions, "Prelude" by Yakov Stepovy, "Chronobryvtsi" by Volodymyr Vermenych, "Vesnyanka" by Ihor Shamo, and the Ukrainian folk song "Plyve kacha" were heard. The musicians also performed compositions that became a kind of musical symbol of the war - the author's paraphrase of the melody "Oh, in the meadow red viburnum", "Stefania" by the Kalush Orchestra, "Hugs" by the Okean Elsa band.  Kharkiv musicians continue to plan to hold charity concerts and popularize classical world and Ukrainian music, supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We wish them further professional success in their sincere desire to help the country.
