At the end of May 2024, financial support in the amount of 105,112 UAH was received to implement the project "Preservation of the Botanical Garden Collection" from generous donors WILDE, Danielle Maree, and KAISER, Brooks Alexandra (Sweden). Their contribution made possible an important step towards sustainable development and the preservation of natural resources.

As part of the project, a modern solar power plant was installed on the garden's grounds, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for scientific research, educational, and extracurricular activities, even during emergency power outages. Thanks to this, the Botanical Garden will continue to actively fulfill its research mission. Moreover, it will help raise environmental awareness among garden visitors and the Kharkiv community in general.
