During the mass shelling by the enemy of the outskirts of Kharkiv, the university library, one of the largest university libraries in Ukraine, was also destroyed. A damaged heating system, a broken roof, and blocked windows – these are the realities today for over 3.5 million books that entire generations of Kharkiv residents learned from.
