The STEAM Exhibition "Touch Science" is an interactive educational initiative aimed at engaging students in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. The exhibition consists of a variety of exhibits demonstrating key scientific principles and technological achievements. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, conduct experiments, observe scientific demonstrations, and study models related to renewable energy, physical processes, and biological phenomena. The main exhibits cover topics such as energy transformation, electromagnetic phenomena, optical illusions, human anatomy, and many others.
Project FocusThe project addresses the educational setbacks faced by students in the Kharkiv region, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and wartime events. These factors disrupted the learning process, caused psychological challenges, and limited access to modern educational resources. The STEAM exhibition will help restore students' motivation to learn, improve their knowledge level, and enhance their social skills through interactive learning methods.
Alignment with the UN Sustainable Development GoalsThe project aligns with Goal 4, "Quality Education," by ensuring equal access to quality educational resources and modern learning opportunities for schoolchildren in the Kharkiv region. The project also supports the implementation of national programs aimed at promoting STEAM education in Ukraine, facilitating the integration of modern teaching methodologies at the local level. This will contribute to leveling educational opportunities and creating conditions for sustainable educational development in the region.
Primary Goal of the ProjectTo provide students with the opportunity to regain knowledge and develop practical skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), promoting their social integration and professional growth.
Target AudienceThe target audience includes school students in the Kharkiv region aged 6 to 18, including those affected by educational disruptions due to crisis situations, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and children with disabilities. The project is focused on children from various socio-economic backgrounds, particularly those from low-income families. Special attention is given to ensuring equal access to resources and opportunities for all students, regardless of their status or physical abilities.
Project Implementation Plan• Preparatory Phase: Concept development, equipment procurement, team formation (1-2 months).• Exhibit Production and Interactive Materials Preparation: Creation of exhibits and development of interactive materials (3-4 months).• Logistics and Exhibition Setup: Organization of exhibition logistics and preparation of a mobile version (2 months).• Marketing Campaign and Partnership Collaboration: Promotional campaign and partnership building (1-2 months).• Exhibition Execution: Running the exhibition, organizing workshops, and conducting demonstrations (6-8 months).• Project Conclusion and Reporting: Closing the exhibition and preparing a final report (1 month).
BudgetThe total project budget is approximately 1,419,000 UAH.

Post-Project ActivitiesFollowing the exhibition, there are plans to continue STEAM initiatives by organizing similar exhibitions in other regions, ensuring support from local and international partners for the further development of STEAM education in the Kharkiv region.
